Hmmm. I think I may have found it? I am getting an error message, then have to both reinstall and hard reset, but it continually comes back. Is this what you are referring to?
Darn it! That's the one. I was hoping you might be able to escape it, but it got you too. Best bet is to install the other branch I mentioned for now. But this SHOULD be fixed tomorrow.

Stupid, unrelated question......What are these things?

No worries! Those are headrests for the kids. They're pretty cool, they flip up out of the way when not in use. My wife wishes there was a way to attach one to the front passenger seat!

For roadtrips if you could put bluetooth speakers in those headrests with a tablet on the back of the front seat that would be fantastic.

Put her in the backseat, kid up front?

My 14yr old as recently graduated to the front seat. Honestly, he's as good or better copilot than my wife :D

I found the VNE for the Comma, at least in its current SW iteration. It is 94 mph. Above 94 you get the following message. Also the most I can set the cruise speed at is coincidentally, 94 mph. It wouldn't go over 90 mph though even when set at 94. On the plus side, 90 mph according to the Comma is 90 mph according to the GPS and 92+ according to the Rivian speedometer.

See attached photo of a run in Mexico. It had the message "Speed Too High, Model uncertain at this speed." I have to say it was very solid at 90 mph. This eclipses both Tesla and Rivian G1 or G2 ADAS.

Hi Gerry. I am wondering if this error was corrected over the weekend. I guess i could install and see, but thought I would check in before going through the uninstall and reinstall. Thanks in advance!

I installed the 3x about a month ago and have been using the Comma since. It’s mostly been great other than both times I’ve taken my R1S below 80 miles of range the R1S has faulted and disabled all driver assistance features until I recharge my vehicle.

I have two questions I’m hoping others have answers to:

1. I calibrated my Comma but it is a lane line hugger. The comma isn’t centered under the rearview mirror housing but is more toward the driver so i don’t think it’s an issue of the comma mounted incorrectly. The Rivian’s system displays the vehicle in an accurate location on the driver’s screen. Is there a way to redo the calibration?

2. I’ve run the usb cable up through the mirror housing and along the windshield which were easy tasks but then I’ve run into the A pillar and I have no idea what to do to remove the trim or route the cable. It appears it needs to go under the corner of the headliner and then the A pillar trim and then I’m not sure about the plastic dash area. Does anyone have any tips or diagrams on how to run it and how to remove the trim without damaging the trim and its “suede” surface/edges (I have some trim tools I bought for this project)?

Thanks!
