Another great Mobile Service

Decided it was time to rant about how fantastic Rivian mobile service has been!

Over just about 2 years and 3 R1Ss, I’ve had mobile service out 4 times. Every single visit has been on time; they finished the work in a very timely manner; the interactions with the tech were pleasant and I was able to have all of this tackled without leaving the office!

Most recent service this past week was timely and perfect again.

I had Tesla fixed this way but had to often wait several weeks but I live in NW Montana so not a big population center. I just ordered a new R1T and hoping the mobile service does nat take as long???...

Obviously going to depend on how much they invest in the crew: the tech told me there are only 5 working in greater San Jose!

I had Tesla fixed this way but had to often wait several weeks but I live in NW Montana so not a big population center. I just ordered a new R1T and hoping the mobile service does nat take as long???...

I live on an island and we have pretty regular service every 4 to 6 weeks (more during the tourist season when we are inundated with Rivians.), so an average of 2 or 3 weeks to schedule a visit. The average appointment for the resident Ford dealer is 35 days wait, so our Rivian service is actually better.

Yesterday morning I called because I lost Internet connectivity over the weekend. The tech went to schedule my appointment and said I was in luck because our service guy is on island for 2 days and so he scheduled me for today, if possible. A half hour later our mobile tech texted me and said he had a free window and could he come over. Net result was a 9am call to Rivian and a completed repair by 2pm!
