My 2025 R1S Gen 2 is running 2025.22.30. Why is there no upgrade to 2025.26.30?
Updates on the Rivian App show Auto install is "On" "Everywhere" and set to the current time.
I cannot seem to set it to update "Only at home"
My preference would be to have it update "Only at home" when parked in the garage and after 11:00PM PST
I have great WiFi connectivity at home in the garage.

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

It has not been released to you, yet. The updates are rolled out in waves.

If you are anxious to get updates make sure you have subscribed to Connect+. Rivian has been clear that subscribers get first priority for updates.

Yep - the long and short of it is that you get an update when whatever wave you are randomly assigned to is given the command by the Rivian update infrastructure. What wave you are in is different for each update.

usually, all wave should get the update within roughly two weeks of initial deployment, but that can change if things have to get stopped/paused due to bugs that emerge.

I've learned (thru life and my time in IT) that unless it's some super-important security-related update to just relax. It'll show up when it shows.

I have an update ready. Twice it asked to start at a bad spot. Second time I set it to update at 3am as it will virtually always be in the garage and not moving for several hours. The option was presented when asking to update now.

I am not a current Connect+ subscriber and I typically get notified 7-10 after the release date. You’ll know when it is available to you. Both your vehicle and your Rivian App will notify you a new software version is available for update. You can’t miss it.

Rivian Roamer shows the roll out status.

Just a heads up the Rivian app only tells you once your vehicle has finished downloading the update. But there is a phase earlier than that when your vehicle gets flagged and is ready to download it. If you don't have a good connection or Connect+ the only way to know that is to either go into your vehicle or link your Rivian account to Rivian Roamer, to which you will et a notification via email.

I recommend reading through this guide I've put together

You can setup the unofficial Rivian integration on Homeassistant and it will tell you update status as well.

Okay, sorry if I misspoke regarding the App. I thought when I was notified on build 2025.22, in the App where it shows “Updates” and list the version it showed there was an update available to download. This was before I downloaded the new build. I thought I even triggered it from my phone. 🤷‍♂️

Anywho, as RivianRoamer stated, your vehicle will pester you each time you get in to drive it. The center display will show that you have a new software build ready for download. You can’t miss it.

Oh you weren't wrong inherently I'm just clarifying there is a step before you see it in the app. Your vehicle will get flagged as eligible and you won't know if you rely on the app. So it might be trying to download and unless you link on RR or go to the vehicle screen, you just won't know.

But yeah it'll tell you on the driver's screen as well.

I do this myself as well. Though I would like to warn people if you don't know what you're doing you can inadvertently leak your information. The amount of open HA installations I've found is wild.

Not to mention you can also lock your account out with too many attempts if you do it wrong.

I thought about installing the Rivian Integration but then wondered, would i get much benefit from it? What is your take on the integration, what do you like and dislike?
