Still a newbie here <500 miles on Gen2 R1S Tri. I'm trying to figure out how to leave the vehicle on for my passengers while I run into the store etc? I'm using my cellphone with proximity and if I want to run into a store while my family waits in the car, the vehicle locks b/c my phone is out of range. Is there a way to leave the vehicle "running" for the passengers so that A/C radio etc remain on while I'm in the store? Maybe I'm missing something but I thought this would be easier. Thanks in advance!

"Camp Mode" should do it, with proper options selected. But, as has been observed, "Pet Mode" will also do most of what you want--and will give your passengers a good chuckle!
I just find pet mode easier - perhaps my muscle memory is causing a blind spot, but being able to do it in two button pushes from any screen, vs having to start up the camping app etc is why it wins out for us (plus its fun treating the in-laws like puppies).

I agree on both points: pet mode is designed to be very quick to turn on/off for convenience, and, especially with the Gary image on the display, it is a fun poke at the ones you love second only to your actual pets! But I think there are some controls disabled when in pet mode, like the window controls. Camp mode offers a bit more flexibility at the expense of ease.

There should be a convenient way to do this.

Yeah, like some kind of button that keeps the power on ... they could call it the "power button" ... as a bonus, they could invent something where you press it again to turn the power off instead of having the car stay on all night due to a mislatched seat belt ... surely a tech company like Rivian could solve this problem ... maybe for R3 ...
