iPhone App - Nothing Works!

I have a 2026 Gen 2 R1S. Why is the iOS app so limited? None of the climate buttons work on the app (no heated steering wheel or seats or anything).

I can't do anything with the charging except see it's plugged in. And it doesn't know where my car is, even though it's on wi-fi and bluetooth, in my driveway. It shows where it was two weeks ago.

I've done all of the troubleshooting, reinstalling, etc., but it's still mostly useless. WTH????

Do a reset of the vehicle. Hold left side button on the steering wheel and the hazard button down simultaneously for 15 seconds.

This fixed an issue I had recently like you’re describing where the truck kept showing as “offline” in the app.

+1 on the vehicle reset. That will reset your Rivian's connection to the network and your app. FWIW anytime you get one of these odd issues it's worth trying a soft and/ or hard reset before calling service or even spending a bunch of time researching it. Think of it the same way you do your phone or computer.

Stumbled on this searching "Bluetooth" after having sound issues today. Alas, my repair guide days are over. I recommend asking @Rivian
