Rivian Account Sign In Issues

Over the past two days when I try to sign into my account the usual security verification code is never sent. I have not changed my password nor email address. It does not matter if I use the Rivian app on my iPhone or iPad. Same thing happens if I try to sign into my account on my iMac through Rivian’s web site. After several try’s I get locked out of my account. Nothing in my junk nor trash files. Just trying to check on my R1T’s charging status. Call to Rivian was met with that is certainly unusual we will send it to our tech people and get back to you. Anyone else have a similar problem?

A additional question. Anyone know why Rivian does not use facial or fingerprint recognition for sign in security? Thanks.

I just tested web login, seems to work fine I received the code.

Should have mentioned I have not change my phone number nor phone.
You may want to make sure the numbers is not being blocked as spam.

My code comes into my text from a 5 digit number - 80948

I just discussed iPhone and Rivian key card proximity issue with Rivian Support. I logged in to Rivian web site with Mac DeskTop - no issues, and I didn't need a verification code either.

Thanks for the suggestions. Checked the blocked phone numbers. Rivian's number is not blocked. This only started after the recent "Halloween" software update. I have no idea if there is a linkage or just coincidence. One additional oddity is that I tried five times to sign in, didn't receive any double authentication pass codes and, as would be expected, was then locked out of my account. Yet, ten or fifteen minutes later I received five pass code numbers by text all at one time. Of course being locked out of my account I couldn't use any of them. This caused me to wonder what could have delayed their transmission? Checked my phone and to my surprise the WiFi calling feature was turned on. I have never used this feature and do not remember ever activating it but I suppose it could have been operator error or perhaps one of the Apple software updates turned it on? In any event the Verizon coverage where I live can be weak at times so perhaps the phone switched to WiFi calling and that caused the delay? Just speculation on my part. I have turned WiFi calling off. For now everything seems to be working normally. If this happens to anyone else hopefully this is helpful.

I had the same issue not getting the authentication text the same day I got the app update. Coincidentally, same day the Amazon AWS downtime happened. The next day when AWS was resolved, all the emails and texts from Rivian came in. I was able to reauthenticate and logged in to my account. I don't know if this apply to your current situation though.
