Hey Rivian Nation,

Woohoo, new product drop!

Say hello to our RMaxx Heavy Duty Brush & Bull Bars for Rivian R1T / R1S -- Front AND Rear Bars!

All the details are listed on our site page HERE

These are legit, both function and looks! HEAVY DUTY, integrated tow hooks, heavy-wall tubing, a REAL receiver mounting frame (not just clamped to tow hooks), etc. And yes, now you have something to step on to get into bed! Ever notice how hard / impossible it is to lean into bed without a real bumper step?

We have these in stock and ready to roll (boxes being made, should ship within 2-weeks)

Launching confirmed for 2020-2024 R1T / R1S. For the Gen II / 2025+, need to test to make sure no issues with front sensor / radar. I need a tester...so anyone with a GEN II 2025+ R1T / R1S that wants a SPECIAL discount deal and will test for us, please PM me! For now....we'll just say Gen I.

Hey EVsportline. Thanks for the great products. Have you given any thought to a product like my home made one in the attached photos? It’s an elevated cross bar that is the same height as the roof mounted cross bars on a R1T. It is very useful for hauling long items like lumber. I have to strap mine done with cargo straps. I would love a product that could snap into the attach points on the rail of the truck bed. Thoughts?

I know you have the overland rack but they is large and expensive. This would be smaller and easy to install and store.

Check on ebay there is a company making a.riser for the Rivian crossbars. Though they are pricey. I'd link it here but don't want to hijack this thread.

They look good, but how securely and "multi-point" are the attachments?

Is there any bracing/strength against "lever forces"? If an actual bull comes up and leans against the front bar at the top of it, pushing it toward the front of the vehicle, will it bend? If someone offset-rear-ends me at 5 MPH, will the end of the bar just push in and crunch the rear bumper, a far more expensive repair than a 5 MPH ding?

I had similar question. Copying here the product description text from EV Sportline site. Seems pretty solid. Rear bar appears to require modifications that would not make it removable without damage.

I really like these. Would be perfect if they had mount points for a winch and lights.

-----
Description:

The RMaxx Heavy Duty Brush / Bull Bar for Rivian R1T / R1S front grille and rear bumper are designed and manufactured to provide maximum protection for the most grueling adventuring possible! As usual, our attention to detail and craftsmanship is unmatched - the front Brush Bar bolts on and offers proper coverage and protection across the full width of the front fascia and grille, extending up over the leading edge of the hood, while extending below the tow hooks to guard the leading edge of the front bumper underside fascia. All this while retaining full size and strength tow hooks! That is correct, we bolt on using the factory tow hook mounting points and then we provide new heavy duty tow hooks integrated to our mounting frame - no giving up your tow hooks!

A similar strategy was deployed for the rear bumper. The rear Brush Bar extends from the factory rear bumper and follows a contour that leaves the license plate unobstructed while keeping the tow hitch available (requires drop hitch). No more backing into things and destroying the rear end! And...it's rigid enough to serve as a step! Ever notice how impossible it is to lean into the bed without a rear bumper? SOLVED! Step on up with this rear bar!

These products are extreme duty - for real - these are not just ornamental items. The front Brush Bar includes dual heavy duty receiver style mounts. Our design eliminates the flimsy alternative of 'just bolting to factory tow hooks'. We decided against simply bolting to existing tow hooks because frankly that option will not provide any protection (the bar would fold in onto the Rivian with any impact load) - not to mention it eliminates the essential front tow hook functionality. Our Brush Bar can also be unbolted from our receiver mounts and easily removed for service or if desired. The same type receiver mount was deployed on the rear Brush Bar, which can also be quickly unbolted if needed.

Installation requires minor trimming of the fascia's rubber seals that surround the factory tow hooks for the front bar. The rear bar requires cutting two holes (easy hole saw template included) in the plastic bumper fascia to allow our receiver mounts to pass through, and relocating pedestrian speaker and bluetooth modules inside the bumper cover. For both front and rear installs, the fascia is removed -- which we provide step-by-step instructions for.

Specifications:

1.5" Diameter Alloy Steel Tubing
Fixture Built & Fully Welded / Sealed
Electrostatic Textured Black Powder Coating
Twin 2" Square Front Receiver Mounts
Front Assembly: 100lbs
Rear Assembly: 27lbs
Hardware included

Fitment:

For Gen I Rivian R1T / R1S the Brush / Bull Bar Guards do not interfere with the front radar sensor, headlights, or side-access charging port doors. We have not tested on Gen II / 2025+ for sensor compatibility -- we will seek confirmation and update when confirmed. For now, we are selling for Gen I only.

2021-2024 Rivian R1T (fits 2025+, may interfere with sensors)
2022-2024 Rivian R1S (fits 2025+, may interfere with sensors)

@EV Sportline Are these the brush bars referenced on the aluminum front bumper page or are there other specific brush bars built to go with those? Also, will the rear bars be compatible with upcoming rear bumper?

I like how subtle the rear bar is. Would you consider making a similar single bar style for the front?

this rear bull bar and the new bumper are different products at the moment - these brush/bull bars are intended for use with stock bumpers. We'll have future add-on products specific for our bumpers. Our bumpers have integrated mounting bosses.

I am disappointed. It looks like the front bar assembly is blocking the front surround view camera, as well as some of the fog and guide lights. Also, it looks like it is missing protection of the lower front fenders / front lower bumper on the sides.

"camera" does not appear on the product listing page. Nor does it mention interfering with the fog and guide lights.

If it blocks the camera, it is not for me. Regarding the lights interference, I would want to see images of walls lit up with and without the bars.

I agree. This is similar to what police cars have in the front. A lot of money and research went into the design of those bumpers and it would be hard to do better than them.

So will the bull bar fit the new front bumper? Or will it only fit the stock one at the moment?

Fits Stock - but it’s only some mounting brackets away from fitting new bumper πŸ˜‰
