Hi Folks,
Long story I’ll post about in a few weeks, but it looks like I’ll be replacing my Dual Standard R1T with a Dual Max R1T. With some weird build decision, they don’t offer the Max pack with the (honestly great) 20” AS/AT wheels the standard pack comes with designed by Brian here on the forums.
So, given I live in rural Maine and have heard the stock perelli 22s aren’t great (wife’s LE R1S has the Michelin defender ltx on 22’s and still not as planted as I like for our gravel roads and a planned big national parks trip with the kids in June), I opted for the closest thing, the 20” AT’s.
I’m curious if anyone has this setup can tell me about real world range?
I’m mostly wondering if there’s truly a 50 mile hit between the 22” sport perelli’s (420) and the 20” AT’s (370), since the standard (and large) pack has a much smaller delta between the 20” and 22” wheels for range (256 v. 270 and 309 v. 330).
Thanks for any insight!
