Annnnd the snow delayed my pickup today. Now it's been rescheduled to next Thursday but I'm hoping to get it Monday or Tuesday. The SC said it would be delivered on Saturday 1/30 but they aren't open on Saturday for pickups. Super lame.

Really? Hudson SC let me do a Saturday pickup, guess it's case by case...sorry, soon!!!

Out of curiosity, how long did it take between plopping down your $500 and getting an appointment for pickup? Waiting to get the message to pick up my borealis R1T.

I put the deposit down on Dec. 3rd. Was told around Jan 7th it would be ready for pickup January 29. Vehicle was factory gated and finished Jan 8th and they said shipping, by train I assume, could take 2-ish weeks, depending on where it was delivering too.

Thanks, much appreciated! I was told could take up to 2 months and seems like that was an accurate statement. Too bad you can't pick it up from the factory as I live around Chicago. The factory is only a 2 hour drive for me and it would cut down on my wait time.

Is there a specific team that takes care of pick up cause I'm baffled that I have more tracking and knowledge of where a $30 package is than I do on my $120,000 Rivian. They should have a tracking app from the warehouse and where you can see it every state it goes through until it gets to the service center.

I agree, but the sales team was pretty helpful on timing with me at Hudson and previously Chelsea

That would put me at 9 weeks and 6 days since I placed the order on Dec. 3.
I’m sure it will be worth the wait once I pick it up but waiting was hard.
The manager of the new KOP space invited me to their grand opening since he said this was the only Borealis in PA right now.

Honestly, I think this just means they had more demand than expected, which is great! Our Hudson SC hasn't received their first orders quite yet either. They also told me that they change transit carriers at each calendar year, so there are often delays at the very beginning of the year, and then the storms...lots going on! Promise it will be worth it, such an awesome vehicle.

Ooooh haha I wonder if it’s a quad. I know there were a bunch of quads already made at the end of 2025. They didn’t have any Tri’s available which is what I ordered. Do you know where in PA?

I think that's probably right - I saw a few available on the shop at the very start of the year, but no Tri.
