QC looking good. Any markings on holes you guys see are from me test fitting on my bench.

note: Kammok side mount show for picture only, not included. Below is what I included:

I use the original Kammok long bolts. On the bench it only looks like about 1.5 turns of thread is contacted. Once on the rack and tightened down the bracket pinches in a bit and you get a couple more threads of bite.
I don’t see any issue with this as the forces are not pulling against the threads.

I saw someone post about that and I did get a resposne from Kammok myself that they were looking into the idea with no timeframe.

Thats the reason why I price them close to cost and don't order too many pieces in case Kammok does a surprise announcement.

I was able to install my side mount without any issue and it seems very sturdy and secure on the crossbars.

One tip: if using the default "A2" position, use the middle-angle hole when bolting. When the awning is opened, the bottom hole points downward by about 30 degrees, which will hit the door. If using the top hole, it will point the awning 30 degrees too high.

Post pictures and thoughts, also the 3 holes are options from the Kammok kit. Should be +12.5*, 0*, and -12.5* per their specs.

Clearance is actually too low with the new kneel mode but will just leave at Standard height when deploying the awning.

Crossbar wind noise is now tolerable with the side mount!

how tall are you? I had to make new brackets for our 270 OVS awning because it was too low. And it started off unfolding at about the same level with nothing ending below it.
