It was on my list until I learned how long it is. My garage is not big enough, and I like to garage keep my vehicles.
The Hummer and R1T are actually the same length, the difference is in the width.

I think it's 5 years required for section 179, which means at least 2.5 more years, but I'll probably keep it a little longer unless something major happens with Rivian or the car. It's been great so far and I have less than 11k miles on it.

I assumed it was as long as GMC Denali version. Hmmmm. May need to think about this when trade in time comes.

The bed on the Hummer is 5 feet, the Sierra is 5 ft 9 in. They kept the Hummer shorter because of the off road capability.

Leasing Model 3 until R3X comes out, but now I have an R2 reservation as well.
I should add that we don't need two vehicles. That probably answers my question. We're definitely getting an R2...since we only need one vehicle...I'm not able to drive right now and may not be able to in the future. Hanging on to the truck doesn't make much sense. As much as I like it. I really need a version to come that has real self driving capabilities! I'll be waiting for awhile.
I think Rivian will achieve eyes-free faster than Tesla did. Point-to-point or L4 will be harder. The technology and especially AI are advancing rapidly though. So many edge cases, even for Tesla.
