Definitely more gray than the other image, and much closer to what I envisioned from the configurator. If truly this color, I might change back from white (that video of a white R1T with black wheels getting detailed made me switch to white). Limestone was always my first choice.

But then it becomes a cost issue IF Build Back Better lite goes through and I have to keep the price below 80k for any refund. Hard to do once you add a non-free color and those black wheels.

And both images are way grayer than what they showed the other day

I mean this (doctored) pic reads very much like El Cap to me, and the other ones read like launch green-lite. In both cases I'd rather go with the actual colors. This is nothing at all like the configurator - which I get, none of them are, but this is WAY off, the others are least semi-relevant. This feels utterly made up and way too close to existing colors.

I would love to see it in person, or more pics from someone, or a video from a hub, or... ANYTHING. As this looks nothing like even the infamous "swatch" photos that have made the rounds. I was hoping for something much more grey and much more matte, I honestly don't know what this is. but the bigger thing is... why the hell is Limestone such a problem for Rivian to show? Why so much drama around this color? Like get your shit together already and stop doctoring photos and just let us see the actual color

“Limestone was one of the most challenging to get just right,” Aileen says. “We did so many variations to find that perfect balance. I was so excited to see the first one painted.”

she was probably referring to the swatch.

not only is it not like the configurator, which for a long time has been basically unreliable as a color source, but its totally different from the Limestone swatches they continue to have customers look at. if Limestone has changed then please update the swatches or at the very least have them removed.
at this point, no one is going to know what this color looks like until we see it on an actual vehicle either at the hub, for a test drive, or after its been delivered (or possibly another First Mile event if they ever do those again).
