Looking for R1S reservation

Hello,

If anyone has a reservation for the R1S and you are planning to cancel it to get a refund from Rivian, please let me know if you would be willing to transfer it to me for the same $1000 amount that you would get refunded, or somewhere close to that amount.

I am interested in the R1S in the LE trim, or any early reservation for the R1S in any trim level.

My current EV may need to be replaced sooner than expected, and the R1S seems like the best option if I could just get it sooner.

I am open to paying a bit more for the trouble and to compensate for inflation or whatever, but I cannot really justify paying a whole lot more for an earlier reservation for it.

I understand that this is a long shot with really slim chances of success, but figured I would try and post anyway.

I expect that LE vehicles will sell for $10K+ over list for the first 6 months. Maybe more...

I'm not giving up my reservation, but I wouldn't take less than $11K for it.

Not to mention the tax credit, which you could get as the first owner.

No sale for my LE July-September 2022 delivery spot either. I'm ready for this thing. I've got a plug in Jeep I'll sell you once my R1S arrives though...

My R1S order is pretty late (late 2021) but I'm going to keep it because.....I'm going to cancel my Tesla Model S LR reservation.

I'll sell you that one . Delivery is estimated ~May 2022.

In your opinion, what's the reason someone would "transfer" a reservation to you for the same amount they can get directly from Rivian without having to deal with a 3rd party?

might as well ask it this way, "seeking an over $30k valued item for $1k. Let me know if you're stupid enough to take that deal."

and $30k is a low-ball figure for early resale over-MSRP value of an R1S in particular, then toss in the tax credit someone already mentioned.
