The plan is to leave Las Vegas and head over to Kingman, AZ where we’ll recharge to 80% at the new Rivian charging station (3320 Stockton Hill Rd - Kingman, AZ).

For those coming from other locations, let's meet in Kingman, AZ by the RAN listed above between 9 and 9:15 am. We'll take off and head to Peach Springs at 9:30 am

After buying a permits from the Hualapai Indian Tribe we'll be driving about 15 miles through the scenic Diamond Creek Road. The road will drop from 3,000 feet to the end of the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon.

Las Vegas > Kingman: about 110 miles (1h45min)
Kingman, AZ >Peach Springs, AZ: 50 miles (50 min)
Peach Springs, AZ > Bottom of Grand Canyon: 20 miles

On the way back to Las Vegas we can estimate if we need to re-charge in Kingman, AZ or if we can head straight home.

On 10/17 I got confirmation from one of the attendants at Peach Springs that we can just stop by and get the permit, this weekend.
