    THe pad is almost certainly big enough for a floor jack saddle - has to be since two post lift pads are similar size. Looks like the depression in the middle is meant for the scissor jack that comes with the spare tire kit.

    torx plus in particular is much more assembly friendly than hex head or even normal torx. also torx/torx plus is much more suited to a flat or button head fastener than internal hex because it's way harder to strip out the head

    I've had a window "explode" like this on a very hot day. Not on a rivian. But still. This sort of thing is what insurance is for. Zero percent chance any manufacturer would warranty it.

    I would not want a lithium 12v battery, even in an EV, in winter. Unless it has its own lil heater.

    Canada isn't Europe, CMVSS108 is largely harmonized with the US' FMVSS 108. Most Canadian vehicles come with US-spec lighting. I'd bet the tiny amber part used as a turn signal is too small to meet surface area requirements for a turn signal in north america. CMVSS allows some ECE lighting -...
