  1. 12 Volt Demons Caught Up With The Count

My lord-please, consider, if you already have not, sending the SC a message via the app. I am surprised that you are not able to talk to someone. I can usually get someone within 2 minutes of calling. All the best.
  2. R2 non-powered frunk is a mistake?

I use the frunk because it's closer to the kitchen door, if I park with the front in. Over the course of my lifetime, I'm probably saving myself a full year of time with this efficiency (j/k). I can see why OP or others might want a powered frunk but the price of the R2 reflects some of these...
  3. R2 Favorite Features - What's Yours?

I've asked (for a friend) to convert the seat air circulator to a vacuum for this issue.
  4. R2 as our only car

Do it! There are plenty of people in the world surviving with one car. It's better for you and the planet. My R1S has been very reliable. It's my primary car but I could just have gone on in life with it being my only car. Cheers.
  5. R2 Across America: 2,000 miles through six states

    So, no electronic limit? (j/k)
  6. What’s Coming in Rivian’s 2026.15.30 Hotfix

Agree. All my previous cars were ICE and what I drove off the lot was what I got for the life of the car. This is my first EV. Every update is X'mas day for me!
  7. R2 Compact Spare tire....are you ordering it on your build?

I got 2 flats within the first month of getting my R1. Had to replace one tyre and patch the other one. Got tyre insurance and the spare tyre kit and haven't had a flat since!
  8. Range question for gen 1 2024 R1S quad

OP-My R1S is a '23 and the estimated range is closer to others posted it should be. Yours seems low. Your miles are very low. Wonder if an "abused" car has battery degradation?
  9. 500-800 miles from Service Center......from those with Rivian experience....how risky will this be?

There are people here that took there Rivians to Europe. Can't remember the gent that has three in Hawaii. The R2 is not first generation because it is a result of learning on the R1. I have a '23 R1S. No major issues. I would do it without any hesitation but I am not risk averse. All the best.
  10. As you might have guessed.... higher gas prices has increased interest in EVs [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Yes, as long as you have a wife that doesn't complain about the 911 being too low or too noisy and you complicate matters with constant speeding tickets. Life is complicated (j/k). Cheers.
  11. As you might have guessed.... higher gas prices has increased interest in EVs [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS]

Love the R1. It's my first EV. No arguments on the execution. But, I find myself missing my old 911. The sound of that engine is a part of my childhood because my dad owned one. I miss the stick shift as well. I could fit my golf clubs in the frunk and I still had room to fit my sunglasses in...
  12. R2 Infotainment Update: Higher performance than R1, local AI models and new media apps

Me at the support group meeting: "Hi, my name is Ian and I am a R1 owner." Seriously, I couldn't be happier for the next gen Rivians! Go R2!
  13. Ferrari Luce?????

    It's fugly
  14. Does anyone else absolutely hate the Rivian Assistant voice?

I'm offended because that's exactly what my wife sounds like (j/k). Anyone bothered by an AI voice has a blessed life. I'm too busy worrying about all the other things in the world.
