There's another thread where somebody posted the official install instructions from the service manual or whatever and it had a note about needing to use a cut off wheel to remove what looks like a steel peg from the truck body in the bed to make room for the cover, and that was for "vehicles...
@Riviot posted the official install instructions from the service manual or whatever a few posts back in this thread...it had a note about needing to use a cut off wheel to remove what looks like a steel peg from the truck body in the bed to make room for the cover, and that was for "vehicles...
I don't think this is right. I'm a 2023 R1T, vin 26XXX, and mine is compatible. So later than others here saying they aren't. I also was forced off the auto tonneau and I did NOT change to manual so that theory doesn't work either? That said I got my truck from the shop when one popped that...
Rivian manual tonneau with case, I've had it for about 4 months as I waited out a powered tonneau retrofit. Great condition... Bay area buyer preferred but can ship if buyer pays shipping.
Asking $900 OBO.
Don't know what your mean by sturdier. Feels reliable, it's very quiet and feels solid. The slats are surprisingly stiff, I was expecting something I'd be afraid to put too much weight on or bump but they aren't fragile (I wouldn't stand on them but they feel like they could probably support my...
Keep the faith everyone... Parts are still in very short supply but they are starting to slowly roll out (pun intended). Just picked my truck up with the updated version.
I've removed it. Accidentally. It's not bolted down in any way, it's just clips. Lift on it enough and it pops off. Here's the kicker though... Rivian designed this piece as one time use, for reasons beyond me. So when you pull it off, the clips don't really work anymore. The teeth on the...
Not to start an Internet flame war here, but seems to me the risky behavior is attempting the trip during a period where conditions were bad enough to lead to a highway closure. If this is in any way a possibility, then yeah please charge and also maybe don't go? If roads are clear and...
I have 3 little kids, it's the exact reason I go without a stop. To all the "just because you can doesn't mean you should" nonsense posted, I mean if you are trying in the midst of a storm or something then yeah, you deserve to get stuck. But if roads are plowed and conditions are good, it's a...
I think people just have range anxiety. I'm a Gen1 quad R1T with 21s and original tires. I routinely drive to incline without stops. A couple notes tho, I do use conserve on the way up, I start at 100%, I'm starting from the East Bay (orinda), and I haven't gone during a real storm where the...
The release notes for the next release in a couple weeks has a note about a bug fix for 1 channel being duplicated on all channels (although it notes this is a issue particularly with Atmos content). Wonder if it's a fix for this finally or something else.
