I signed up for the Rivian's Launch Event at Pacific Raceways and I am planning to attend. Is there any other information available about what to expect there other than the brief description on the Rivian sign-up page. I am looking forward to seeing the R2 and R3 in person.

I wonder if the reason there is nothing showing for the Seattle Space is that they can't do Demo drives in WA state. I see the other Spaces have signup for Demo Rides. Maybe they are not doing the same thing there or they still need to design a different page.

I was thinking of going to the R2/R3 event this weekend but I never got around to registering for it. Is that required? Anybody go there today? How crowded was it? Could you get close to the cars?

I saw a bunch of Rivian’s at the old Eastgate Emissions Testing site. It looks like they are preparing new cars or something. You can see it from I-90 at 150th on the south side. Seems funny that they are “recycling” the emissions testing site.

If you press the latch down, but not pull on the cable, the lights around the charge port turn from green to white. You can then remove the cable.

Dual non-performance only has All-purpose, Snow and Off Road modes. No sport mode. It is still plenty fast. Just not the same acceleration as I am used to. Maybe an OTA upgrade to Performance mode someday in the future.
