I am curious as to what Rivian‘s position is to the inevitable future of sodium ion batteries. Half the cost, 3 to 4 times the longevity, higher density, no thermal runaway, and incredibly higher temperature range while keeping over 80% of his power.

Well ever since Elon Musk went down the rabbit hole with politics and DOGE anyone owning an EV other than a Tesla received a huge leap in prestige. As far as any negative bias against me driving/owning a Rivian, I've only encountered positive feedback.

So you are definitely not talking about the traction battery. I don’t believe charging the vehicle will charge the 12 V battery.
