  1. Alternative R2 windshield sunshade?

The specs AND The vehicle have been available for probably at least 6 months.. and the re-design and turn around time to manufacture is probably <90 days at this point if not less. so being able to have many products (if not the electric automatic ones) is pretty high confidence.

  5. September-October folks: has anyone been updated to 4-8 weeks?

This is a good point, and probably not how most would think about it. My understanding for the R2 shipping from talking with two sales and delivery reps, is that Rivian is using a lot of RAIL(trains) to get the R2 from Normal to West coast or east coast. Most ppl are used to seeing the highway...

  8. The 330-Mile Question: Where Are the 260+ Mile R2 Drives?

I don’t really understand why anyone thinks the 330 mile EPA rating means how far the vehicle will travel at a constant speed on a highway traveling 70 mph.?? It doesn’t seem like it but it seems like is this or would the R2 be the OP’s first EV? Yes, the marketing is poor especially for new...
  9. The 330-Mile Question: Where Are the 260+ Mile R2 Drives?

Technically, the team that did that wasn’t actually hypermiming they were simply driving a defined loop mostly around a closed shopping center. I believe at night and over I believe a holiday weekend. Overall, I think they’re optimal average speed was 31 mph.
  10. The 330-Mile Question: Where Are the 260+ Mile R2 Drives?

I still have that car (the RWD LR though) and at least initially got frequently at least 275-280 traveling >75 on highways. Today only a bit less.

  12. Apple CarPlay & Android Auto for Rivian R2! 🙌🏼 Easy DIY Plug-&-Play Vehicle Specific Smart Screen 🙌🏼

Frankly the best thing would be some internal PPF wrap kit.. much cheaper and most likely easily installable by the owner.
  13. Growing efficiency Gap: R2 w/ 21" vs. 20" tire sets

Indeed all those things of course have an impact.. but the easiest to measure and has the most general overall and predictable impact is high speed >55mph.. A vehicle traveling at 70mph with the 21” AS tires And a vehicle traveling at 65mph with the 20” AT tires, pretty much all the expected...
  14. First Road Trip in my R2 - Stats & Thoughts

In the heat a lot of superchargers DO Throttle at the station. Depending on how many other drivers are charging, and it can be just 2-3 and the station will throttle quite a bit. I was charging my Tesla in Quartzite last year and there were only three other cars, but when the 4th car showed up...
  15. Growing efficiency Gap: R2 w/ 21" vs. 20" tire sets

We simply must have an avg speed value that is real and as realistic and informative as possible for any head to head comparison to be truly accurately informative.
