The smart signals, IIRC, are part of Driver+ or UHF. There was a bug in the last update where the privacy settings were all deselected and so Driver+ and UHF weren't working properly because the permissions weren't selected. Go back into settings and re-enable the location permissions and it should work. Mine had the same issue and now its back.

I assume you are saying the precise name in your contracts? It works for me too. My current issue is my phone contacts do not sync correctly. I’m not sure if it’s an iPhone thing or a Rivian thing but not all of my contacts sync for reasons I cannot figure out.
IDK if we’re burning down the world using data centers, do I really need to spell out the person’s name? Dumb ass Siri has been able to recognize that Jennifer and Jenn are the same for a decade now.
I fought with it at first because the “sync contacts” settings were both on my phone AND somewhere in the Rivian menus, but the helpful guided directions only mentioned the phone. That was 10min of cursing.
It’s still doing it for me.
This is why I always wait a few weeks before applying updates. I have yet to install the hotfix. I'm not seeing any real issues with the original update, and I'm reading lots of issues after the hotfix here and on reddit. There have been comments here in the past that it is stupid to wait to apply the updates. I'm perfectly fine being called stupid. My stupidity comes from 30+ years of various roles in hardware firmware updates, software development and project management, lol. I've experienced plenty of problematic updates, and it's been fairly clear for a while that regression testing has a lot to be desired at Rivian.
I more meant the last name (along with first) so it knew which contact to match up - I also of course don't know how you have her in your contacts. I don't have this issue so I was curious.
