OP-If you do get the R2, give the R3 a look when it comes available. The way Rivian is headed, I bet it will be a great car and in some ways similar to the Ioniq5. All the best!

lolDoesn't sound good, but nonetheless, the Hyundai would have fared far worse.
But if those "other options" were as attractive or provided the same value presumably they would have been the choice for at least one of them.Bankruptcy is not the issue or concern. Its the inconvenience of having to deal with issues.
One of the key advantages of EVs is the low maintenance, care and feeding of it. If the vehicle is troublesome then it defeats one of the major benefits.
Like I said, I just don't understand why when there are so many options out there today. Since it works for you, great and enjoy.
The OP never said or even implied in the original post that he considered anything else. I only go by what is written and not assume what the person may or may not have done. Its only in the latter posts that indicate OP did look others and preferred R2.But if those "other options" were as attractive or provided the same value presumably they would have been the choice for at least one of them.
