The most interesting tire for R2 to me is VREDESTEIN PINZA AT, but it is only available in 275/55R20. The diameter is basically the same. Is it possible to space them out, or will they just not work?
The tire width is too big for R2. 275 is the width for R1, while R2 is 255.

I know, just wondering if there is a way to space them out 10mm.
Hopefully a tire expert pops in and gives some more info because I'm beginning to get out of my depth, but I'm pretty sure that you can't put a tire with a wider tread onto a wheel with a narrower tread width. And if you could, I would think it would be terrible for mileage and handling...

This is the equivalent of saying a generic sneaker shoe is best for everyone. Everyone has different priorities in what they prefer in a tire there is no wrong choice if it fits your needs.

I'm very happy with the Bridgestone Alenza Prestige tire performance so far, almost meets the original Dunlop 22's in performance but rides a lot better and tire wear is good so far.

You are probably right, but it is only 10mm!

At a glance they look heavy (44#) for the R2, sweet spot is 30-35#…

From R1 to R2 the whole conversation shifts by ~10 pounds or so

That tire size can go on rims between 7.5 to 9.5 inches wide

I would also say the R2 and ideal tread width is around 7.5” wide

All that being said, I’m extremely curious to see how the R2 will do with tires that heavy, will it be like running a 50# on R1, or worse?

All this for an advert? Can even my Rivian transport me somewhere out of the reach of marketing?
