Gen 2 cast subframe replacement (for failed welds on front subframe) - now like a new truck!

As someone who's out of warranty this subframe repair terrifies me. My front end has always been kind of creaky and sloppy but i definitely cannot afford...... the cost of a whole new car just to swap it out.

Yep. I own 3 cars well outside of warranty (997.2 911, 958.2 Cayenne Turbo and a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500) and I will not keep our R1S a minute outside of warranty.

Fortunately we will be able to purchase Rivian Care as we approach the end of our 60k mile warranty.

Is there a "out of warranty" period on a customer satisfaction campaign? It could be a case where they will update every early R1 that needs it at no cost. I'd check with Rivian on that...
