I just got my truck out of service, where it's spent more time than on the road, only to get a notice that it has to back into service due to a recall involving the breaking lights. It's been one nonstop nightmare. 4 road trips ruined now. Truck gets stuck on soft sand constantly. Kick turn just buries truck everywhere save for hard dirt... even though it says it works in soft sand. This is my 3rd R1T and all 3 have been nightmares. I leased the 2026 Quad and have 12 months left. I have a lawyer working to get the lease terminated early free of penalty, and have requested Rivian Finance grant me that grace as well as my family won't get in the car because they don't feel safe. The blind spot indicator or the front collision indicator illuminate every road trip saying "you have no safety features," which leads to the hands-free driving being turned off... which leads to having a $120K truck that is less safe than a 2015 Ford Focus. Sucks.

When you turn it one, it specifically says it only works on soft sand or dirt. I'll pull screenshot next time I dare use it. Or maybe they revised this language ... just like they did with tire pressure recommendations, once people were getting stuck. Roll out shiny item, then curtail who and what I can / should be used for once it's reveals itself to be an Epic Fail. Sad.

If they have been nightmares, why have you had 3 of them? One nightmare is typically enough for me to move on.

I really hope your lawyer comes through so you can get back into a vehicle that is more suited to your needs…

Very funny. I've driven for 50 years with no issues. My daughter was nearly hurt really bad due to faulty seatbelt. No blind spot sensors in dark on highway in rain... enjoy that?

You're bordering on harassing or bullying so I'd be careful -- moderators could take issue.

Lighten up Francis. You got us here with a note about a recall (one sentence) and proceeded to rant for a paragraph about your bad experience, some of which sounds self-induced. No sure what you were hoping to achieve.
