Yakima t slot mounting does not fit OEM Rivian slot

Trying to mount a Yakima awning but t slot mounting bolts are too wide for Rivian OEM crossbar slot.

Not sure if i need different cross bars or Yakima mounting hardware. Yakima states their t slot hardware fits other crossbar slots
and Rivian’s are a bit more narrow than “standard”?

Any help will be appreciated
