LOLWATT? I saw this earlier and noticed at least two flat out wrong things. She called the Unreal Engine a “game console in your dash” and said that the R2 has a removable speaker in the center console like the R1.

I know what it is, and it’s not a game console or a metaphor for one. It’s a rendering engine used to make games that run on game consoles and PCs and to create special effects for film (and I believe it was used extensively in The Mandalorian). It’d be like me saying that GoDot (Tesla) is a game console.
Wow. It's used in gaming. Most people buying cars aren't going to understand the minor difference between game console vs. rendering engine use to make games. Give her a break.
I only brought it up because it was mentioned that other YouTubers like TFL were “flat wrong” with their content and that this video was held to a higher esteem. I just mentioned that she made errors too — none of us are infallible.

Drivetrain-wise, most likely the same between the two. As for software unlock... who knows. It's a business decision that has not been discussed or announced. Wait and see. Both trims have the same 21" all-season wheel/tire combo (with 255/55R21 Pirelli Scorpion MS, standard for performance, optional for premium), so that's not a factor.
