Something is up since the last update. It works when I start on home WIFI, but as soon as I drive away, it stops working and says weak signal. I have 3 of 4 bars and Apple Music and Audible work with no issues. Sirius also used to worked fine in the same area until recently.

Again, something with this app now requires higher bandwidth than before, and if it doesn’t get that bandwith, it freezes up or gives all sorts of errors.

I was also getting the same Unable to Authorize error yesterday. Soft Reset produced absolutely zero remedy on the issue. I am not sure this is a result of the recent software upgrade because there were six days between the two events with no problems.

Around 7am this morning, drove the kid to school, listening to siriusxm fine. From the wifi in the house and then on LTE without a issue.

I then need to get to work later this morning and the app was frozen. :confused:

Gave up and streamed off my phone for ride in. I hope this gets fixed in the next update.

Additionally, if it’s not the supposed authentication issue, I’ll get only one icon listed in my favorites instead of my normal 12 or 13. It would be nice for apps not to be baked in to the os and have the ability to reload app without having to reload the whole os (er car).

I've had continual problems with SiriusXM on my Rivian since acquired 6 months ago. Is it too much to ask for it to be satellite-based like other vehicles. I have zero problems with my non-Rivian's. The past days I've also had 'authentication' issues.

Over the past month or so I have had the “authorization” failure twice, once before the most recent update and once after so I don’t think it is related to the update. Also each time the cell connection was strong. A soft reset did nothing. Strangely letting the vehicle sit overnight caused the SXM radio to start working and the return of all my favorites. I have no explanation for this. The first time it happened Rivian said it was a new one for them and I would hear from the specialists who deal with software/infotainment issues. Never did.

Mine had trouble after the update. Been good lately. Something must have been reset.

Third no “authorization” failure this month yesterday. Rivian said to reach out to them while the failure is happening to see if they can remotely access the truck during the failure to try to diagnose the problem.
