With each OTA there are always complaint from some that they don't think they are getting the priority status their Connect+ subscription promises.

Here's a data point...

• May 30th 2023 build. July '23 delivery. C+ subscriber.
• 2/20—I received push notice from rivianroamer (the day after deployment first rolled out). I don't have a good WiFi signal where I park, so normally I go out there and use my phone as a 5G hotspot. This time I haven't had time to do that so I just let it be.
• 2/23—Yesterday I got a notification on my phone about an update. Entire text of notification wasn't shown so I tapped on it, which lead me to the software version screen of Rivian app. It showed no available pending installs, so I shrugged and turned my attention back to the work-related fire drill.
• 2/24—Just now, I happen to look at the app and it shows that I can now install 2026.03.
• So over just 4 days, without any intervention from me, the truck downloaded from it's own LTE connection.

Moral of story? Don't sweat OTAs. Whether you're proactive or passive about downloads... You get it regardless. And if somehow they missed you, all it takes is a call to Support and request to have it manually pushed—which I did once last year when a download hung at a certain % for a couple days despite having WiFi connection. And that call to Support (on a Saturday) didn't even take up a minute.

Aside from becoming a Rivian employee and joining the internal set....

You can definitely decelerate it though by cancelling Connect+

I wish there was an option to adjust the timeout duration for how long the quick controls menu is visible on the center display. I tend to require more time when enabling kneel mode.
