Long long long shot, but figured I'd ask. I just bought a 2024 R1S and it has the stock oem 21 inch wheels, with Michelin tires. I'd love to trade for almost any other OEM wheel and tires, mostly the 20 in ATs, but would consider anything, plus would throw in cash to make it happen. Just figured I'd ask before I start shopping for aftermarket rims.

Thank you.

If you are specifically looking for an all-terrain tire, there is one available in the correct size for the 21" wheel (275/55/R21) - the Yokohama Geolandar A/T4. Otherwise, you have three other choices for tires other than the Pirelli's that come with the vehicle.

Tire Rack lists everything that is available for your size.

Thank you - am hoping to find a trade so I don't have to buy new, seems unlikely but maybe someone bought one and doesn't care about rims/tires.

I have 2 Rivians 24 R1T with 21" Michelin Defenders and 2026 R1S with 22" Pirelles.
The 21" Defenders are better, quieter, bigger sidewall and handle the snow better. Keep the 21"s.

I actually just bought a pre-owned 2022 R1T 15k miles on it and OEM 21"s on the rear that have ~5-6mm left on the tread where as the OEM 21"s on the front still have 7-8mm; however, I just discovered that one of the rear 21"s has a gash in the sidewall which I don't want to risk.

In general, I was looking at getting something more all-terrain friendly eventually, but now that I have to replace the rear OEMs, can I just put 2 of the Yokohamas on the rear for now, or do I need to replace all 4 at the same time due to the higher profile and beefier treads?

I'm no tire expert, but I think that TECHNICALLY, as long and fronts match and backs match, you're okay. I don't know off the top of my head of the ATs for the 21" wheel are bigger diameter than the other OEM all-seasons or not.
