Trying to determine how that's different from El Cap Granite. I mean, side-by-side I'm sure there's a difference, but from the photos I've seen, I can't tell.

Compared to El Cap Granite, Half Moon Grey is noticeably less blue and more grounded in warmth. The metallic flakes in Half Moon Grey are significantly finer than those in El Cap, creating a surface that both sparkles and glows.

Maybe my eyes aren't that good. I mean...I did see a gold dress, so there's that...

Did we really needed another shade of gray????

Red Canyon anyone???? How about something completely different - dare I say golden brown or quartz green or orange??

This is a good color but many would like brighter colors to also be offered. Not one or the other but both.

I just happened to do the daily check for Red Canyon in the store and saw the HMB. Unfortunately the only OC interiors are on the Quads which I don't want. I'm too afraid of SoCal sun + glass roof + black interior. I digress.

I don't see the blueish hint in ElCap. Just looks like a dark gray and almost black at times. HMB I envision as a light gray and almost silver

One day I think someone will look back at this moment in automotive history and note that American and German cars were mostly black, white, and shades of gray. Then they will note that Chinese cars were an explosion of reds and blues and greens and oranges and yellows. Then they will correctly say: one culture was stuck in a permanent pessimism about the future and the other saw a future filled with possibilities. Sigh.

At least there is Borealis.
