26' R1T Gen2 Tonneau Cover Issue

Has anyone with the new-ish G2 tonneau cover (oval roll type) stop working after the 2026.07.0 software update or any software update? Stuck closed. The pictogram on the dash showed the cover open. Did the tonneau button reset/recalibration (…_) on the tonneau open/close button like 20x, cycled it open like 6 inches then closed. Normal function did not work (error message - Failed to Reset). Did (reset) L & R steering wheel button and (all reset) L steering wheel button & emergency flasher multiple times. Still No joy. The service appointment was a month out but I needed the cover open to use the truck bed. Theory is the controller lost the open and close calibration values. Best guess was to get the cover more open then retry the tonneau button reset/recalibration (…_). Here is what I came up with.

6 wires on the motor connector:
2 wires:
(wht) and (blk) - most likely power wires.
4 wires:
(red) 14 V - likely power for sensors
(blk) ground
(grn) - sensor
(wht) - sensor
sensors are most likely hall effect in a quadrature setup (90 degs to each other)

Motor Spec:
PMDC brushed - most likely
Voltage - 12V DC
Amp - 115w

Applying 10->12 V (+) to (blk) and (-) to (wht) will retract (open) the cover, conversely
Applying 10->12 V (-) to (blk) and (+) to (wht) will close the cover

After retracting the cover and retrying reset/recalibration procedure, calibration was successful. Hope this helps someone.
