techs just left. Took about an hour and replaced both 12V. No charge as they stated they were being replaced under the new campaign Rivian just launched.
Currently at 36,500 miles, so already a bit “overdue”. Just had my 12V replaced today. Two mobile techs came out from Trenton. The one was a young kid that just started with Rivian about 4 weeks ago. He said he’ll be at the Malvern center once opened. He said they are hoping Q1 2025 to open. ?
Yes, it will need to be done at SC. While I have 37,000 miles on mine, I have not had any of the service performed. So I called to schedule and decided on the 22,500 mile service. They said it's much more comprehensive and involves putting the truck on the lift. They inspect suspension...
I voted yes as I’m scheduled to have mine replaced this week. Got a notice last Monday to replace the 12v and call service immediately. Have had the car 2.5 years (2022) R1T with 37,000 miles on it.
Man I really feel bad for those of you that have been stranded due to this issue! That would have put me over the edge. Fortunately I was home when it happened this morning and I am able to keep the truck plugged in and alive until they can come replace the 12v.
I will caveat my situation with...
I too just got the critical battery error this morning. Chatted with Rivian and performed hard reset. After hard reset another code popped on the dash along with the critical battery warning. Was told to plug into charger and not drive vehicle and SC will be in touch later today. Mines an R1T...
I just got an email saying mine was delivered. Checked the Ring doorbell and sure enough there's a package there waiting for me!
VIN 22XX
Delivered 3/22/22
I’ve got over 32k miles now. And just got new tires at my local shop. So haven’t taken in to Rivian for any of the scheduled maintenance yet. I’ll have to take it in at the end of the summer for the 37,500 service. I need to have them look at the rear suspension again anyway.
I had an f-150...
Thanks! I was March 2022 delivery. Never had them do any service on it though. Maybe your service flagged something in their system?
Sorry for hijacking the thread. Back to your regularly scheduled programming.
Just had mobile service and the tech was based out of Trenton. He basically confirmed this. They opened officially yesterday but are operating out of temporary space that is not meant to be customer facing. He said if push came to shove they would schedule an appointment there but would prefer...
