Yes. That cabin panel must come off first. It sort of interlocks the side panels in. There is a thread somewhere in this forum on how to do it...

I would try to remove the inner bed piece first. Easy to remove by removing the cab side 8 screws. Then remove the side piece... Gives lots of access options.. and can be done in 20 mins with some hand tools. Just a thought.

I will not be. Boards scheduled for delivery tomorrow.. my panels are already off and have been for about a month now. I plan on installing and leaving the panels off. I figure they are only there truly for aero purposes. I've not had anything come up yet.
