I’ve been out of pocket and haven’t completed the 8 steps yet. I never heard a beep out of Rivian other than the universe wide Tony emails until these emails on Monday night

Ok for those that are mildly curious.
I had to go up to Nashville and had plenty of time to stop in Franklin and track down the “future” Rivian place.
They had a nice looking R1S lime stone and black rims (my have to change my T to an S LOL).

Nice guy that worked there and had a cool blue R1T said that they are looking at mid Jan 2023 to start offering the first mile events (I know I know don’t hold my breath).

After driving back to Huntsville I get around to checking my email and what do I find? Come on ask you know you’re curious.

I have an email saying to confirm my R1T….. this after I have a chance to be impressed by the R1S (room in the back for my dogs).

So yes I did find out I have a guide assigned and I asked “that” question. How far will it push me back like one or two years more? To me it’s an important question.

UPDATE
Guide called and told me to be ready for delivery in one to two weeks - trying to get it out before Christmas. Then I got an email for delivery of the walk charger. I have not gotten the other accessories email. My billing stil shows all the accessories from my original order. R1T is coming from Atlanta not Franklin Tn

I just finished all steps BUT delivery (have to wait for them to check their mail in the morning lol). Went with USAA for the finance.
Now it’s a waiting game LMAO.

Hope you get your truck with a bow before Christmas.

I'm happy to share that I took delivery yesterday of a limestone R1T. I picked it up from the Atlanta service center yesterday. Had a great experience there and a blast driving it home. I'm in the Huntsville area. I've been keeping an eye on the forum but haven't posted. I Hope to be more active now.

That's my config! Except I went for ocean coast.

FYI - for those feeling discouraged - I got the same email with "Processing Estimate" saying I was too far from a service center. I changed the delivery address to the ATL service center and a few weeks later got a surprise config confirm email and guide assigned. 8 steps started yesterday and was told my vehicle is in Normal waiting to be shipped to ATL.

Hoping for a december delivery for the tax credit, but I'm not optimistic. Was told 6-8 weeks. Excited to see more of these rolling around.

Some back and forth after the 03-01-2022 pricing email but finally returned to the original config
11-27-2022 email to confirm config and start 8 steps
12-13-2022 guide called to confirm everything
12-14-2022 accessories shipped
12-16-2022 its coming and website updates
12-21-2022 scheduled delivery
