Yeah..but how “near” is actually near. I’ll be stoked but won’t be surprised if it’ll be a lot closer to R2 production.

I have a feeling us R1 folks won’t be seeing this until R2 comes out. But whatever it takes to fine tune and update the UI will be worth the wait. Also, having the music always up on the driving cluster will be nice so I can free up the main screen with whatever else.

I’d assume that there will be some UI changes over to current R1 vehicles. They did the same thing with the Model 3 and Y for Tesla so it was more universal across the board. Really hope the music display does come here to the driver screen. That would be lovely.

Was just driving downtown and saw the back of a XC90. The hips look identical to what we’ve seen of the R2. I ain’t mad about that.

I unfortunately wasn’t able to make it out. I was going to bring my 5 year old because he loves to hike. However, we are over in the Vallejo area. It was simply too far of a drive out for us at the time. Looks so fun though. We’ll have to make it out to another event soon.
