I get sad sometimes knowing I won't see my Jan 23 order of my R1S for a long time..But I am also kinda happy knowing that by the time I do receive it a lot of little things will be changed and the overall quality will be a bit better.

I'd love to see the actual footage of what the camera is viewing and detecting and not detecting (kind of like what you can see on Teslas cameras).

congrats!! Quick question. I have a Y now and we’re currently waiting for our R1S. While sitting in the R1S, can you see the hood?In the Y you cannot see it at all from within the car which I absolutely love. Wondering if Rivian designed it like that as well. I truly hope that’s the case.

While it does look cool. It just doesn't do "it" for me. The "cool" factor wore off about a month after it was first unveiled.

Well..I just made my reservation for a R1S on January 23rd, 2023 - Sounds like I won't be seeing mine until 2025+. I will be doing Dual Motor/Standard Pack though which may make it sooner. Oof..

I just ordered a R1S on 1/24/23. When I did it did say “Late 2023”. Am not surprised at all. Probably won’t see ours until mid 2024 I’d say, which is fine because the plan is to line it up with the 3rd kid (who isn’t in production yet either) :p.
