yeah have had bad luck with chargepoint so didn't want to count on them being functional :). There is a supercharger there but not sure I'll get an adapter in time! Also only 60kW...but guess I can get enough to get to the RAN if I'm really on edge!

I did this multiple times with my Prius. I had a cheap harbor freight inverter connected to the 12V with big wires (huge amps!) and then the suicide cord to an outlet in the garage (dryer outlet). Prius would turn the engine on whenever it needed to keep the 12V charged. Got me through...

Did you do a soft reset after the last update? A bunch of us had mono sound after the last update for some reason, one channel was dropped. Soft reset fixed it.

I don't. I said it was fine (if you go in with appropriate expectations) and everything is a tradeoff. Truck is fantastic, service is "not awful". I'll take that trade.

What phone do you have? I had all kinds of paak issues when I got the truck, but my phone was old. A factory reset on the phone solved some of them, I think the Bluetooth stack was getting corrupted or something (even after the rest it still disconnected a few times a week requiring a Bluetooth...

Does the key fob work as a key? It should basically work just like paak. Could help determine if this is software or hardware related. Regardless, they'll make it right but expect to wait for service. Right now everybody at rivian is going to be 100% focused on end of quarter deliveries.

You mentioned a reset, I assume you did a hard reset (left button on steering wheel and hazard lights at same time for a couple seconds until it reboots)? I've had weird ghosts in the machine in the past, usually after a software update, and that has always resolved them. Won't help your hood tho!
