A Rivian ebike would be pretty awesome. In the meantime, I'm rocking a Gazelle C380 which happens to have the exact same dimensions as the bed diagonal. Plus, the color matches Rivian blue on stormy/overcast days when it's in its angsty dark blue mode (v. the Mediterranean blue look seen in...
Mobile servicing sounds like it's got some growing pains but the way they handled the recall at SCs was fantastic. With no appointment at all I just drove up at like 7pm, there was a sign saying to honk for recall, so I honk and a dude strolls out with a big-ass wrench resting on his shoulder...
They're going to need to try a lot harder and expand a lot more if they're getting booked out 3+ months in advance. If it's not like that at every service center yet, then it soon will be at the rate that they're delivering vehicles.
Compared with a lot of the obstacles that they're facing...
Given that they had already raised the theoretical price from the original $5k to something like $6750, the redesign will either be even more expensive, or they'll do something like not include the Snowpeak anymore in order to get the price back down to something reasonable.
If the redesign is...
While relative to other colors (especially neutral) yellow will always be less popular, I feel like yellow in this segment is somewhat popular. Like I see lots of yellow Jeeps, Hummers, and Broncos. Also, I think every single Maverick that I've seen has been yellow.
I feel like this breaks down when you consider that Rivian chose to deliver vehicles to people that are hours from a service center, and people that accepted those vehicles did so under the impression that Rivian would take care of their own quality and production issues. Or at the very least...
Hard to say since Rivian is constantly interating on their process (e.g. I think they recently switched to transporting vehicles by rail (takes longer) instead of semi).
IIRC for me, my truck made it to Chelsea within days of passing factory QA at which point it took a few days for a Chelsea...
To provide a contrasting opinion: When the paint is very neutral I tend to find myself noticing other things like body style, wheels, condition, etc. more, which can make some cars look older, whereas with non-neutral colors I tend to notice the color itself more. In that case, as long as the...
Why not create the group now and only move forward if you get enough participants? You'll lose some people at every step of the process so probably better to minimize the filters.
My efficiency has also dropped lately which I attributed to the colder temperatures: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/with-temperatures-dropping-is-anyone-else-already-noticing-range-losses.8791/
The dilemma: I want to subscribe to this thread to get a preorder link, but it's so popular that I don't want the firehose of notifications for all the comments here.
The tire pressure menu being hidden there has always surprised me because that's pretty important information that someone could never find. It should at least also be part of that vehicle overview section on the main display.
It was 40s-50s yesterday in New England when I took a long drive out to a wedding. I only got ~290miles of range on a full charge in conserve mode with the 21" tires.
I actually almost ran out of charge because I let Rivian nav pick out a charger on my route as I was getting low and it expected...
While driving around a few weeks ago I saw a billboard ad for the Dodge Ram Warlock and I thought "Warlock" was such a sick name for a truck, so I've been debating giving mine that name.
Isn't that just for the non-truck program? I don't see any trucks mentioned.
That said, they did finally update the main truck page to say that there are 138/200 remaining. That's the first update I've seen from them on this program.
