You won't, service is in quite a state, but they should get you sorted and then you should have a mostly trouble free truck. Obviously, there are exceptions out there, but it seems most have pretty reliable vehicles.
That's a good point, keeping the liability makes sense. I was thinking more in terms of coverage for my property.
There are some pretty good rates on umbrella policies out there as well.
This is the direction I'm headed, get the minimum legally required, then self-insure. The insurance companies are setting the rates where they think they are likely to make money on you.
If they think it is a good gamble (that's what they are doing, gambling that they won't have to pay out more...

Yikes, some of this I can understand. They are slammed and super busy, easy for something to take longer than expected and push your repair back.

I think we see a big increase in service centers starting in late 2025.
By 2027 a significant portion of R1s will be out of warranty, which means service becomes a revenue source and not a huge cost.
R2 and R3 will be selling in large numbers by early 27 and those customers will expect better...

I can't speak to efficiency on the G2 R1T tri, but I can tell you my G1 Quad R1T gets about 2.4kWhr/mi, down to about 2.1 in the winter here in CO.
As for charging speeds, you should get better, but nothing like the GM products those are...
For a lease to hold over for a couple years the Hyundia/Kia products are great. The payment on our EV9 is just over $400/month. We put $1500 down. For a three row electric SUV I think that's pretty good, and Ioniq5/EV6 is arguably an even better deal.
Wouldn't want to own one, but hard to pass...
