  1. Today I F***ed Up - Range Cockiness

I have the NACS adapter and it has eased my range anxiety and made trips more convenient but I don't find it as liberating as others. It has made trips more flexible but when I may have really needed it on my last trip from Chicago to Copper Harbor in Michigan it wouldn't have done much...
  2. NACS Adapter - still waiting...

I was contacted on July 19th to confirm my shipping address. I just checked and it still hasn't shipped. FWIW June 2022 delivery.
  3. 2024.19.06 new update release notes

I got the notification for .06 but I'm waiting to hear how it is working for others before installing.
  4. Gen 1 major ride quality & handling improvement after 2024.19.04 software update - how's your experience?

This is going to sound weird but since this is all controlled by software who knows what is going on. I feel like my ride handling had gotten worse compared to when it was new 2 years ago. When accelerating through on-ramps it didn't feel very composed anymore. I was thinking I was crazy until...
  5. Gen 1 major ride quality & handling improvement after 2024.19.04 software update - how's your experience?

I wasn't expecting to actually feel a difference but it was noticeable in my T.
  6. Chicago to Vancouver - Use Rivian or ABRP?

Use Plugshare when you are charging to check on the next charger you are stopping at to make sure it is working.
  7. RoofTop Tent RTT Advice/Suggestions

What is the problem with wedges? I'm only interested in a RTT if it is super convenient to use. Wedges are the fastest to setup and tear down so that is what I've been looking at. Thanks
  8. My R1T is going on a 2000 miles trip and need advise on charging

Plugshare has been mentioned plenty of times. It isn't only for planning your trip but using it for each station you are planning to go to before you get there. Example: At stop#1 start researching charging stop#2 etc. I have charged at stations that were great one day then out of service the...
  9. R2 / R3 event in Bloomington? (Update w/ Trib article)

I got an email about it but couldn't make it. There is no public charging at the factory. That EA in Bloomington isn't bad but does get pretty crowded.
  10. Is charging in Wisconsin as bad as it looks?

Looks like Circle K avoided Wisconsin too.
  11. R3 looks like the perfect car for me

I sold my 2008 Fit a few months ago because we wanted something a bit more modern. If I knew about the R3 I would have held onto it.
  12. Letter to Rivian: Please Open R3/R3X Reservations

I don't want to reserve an R3X I want to buy one right now. I would put down a $1000 again like I did for the R1T. I'm not in marketing or anything similar and I understand why the R2 is the next release. But I think doing a run of a few thousand 3X's first might make people go crazy for them...
  13. R3 / R3X Dimensions: ~161.4 in length / ~59.5 in height ?

I already emailed Rivian to ask them for the R3 to come first.
  14. R2 or R3?

I would buy the R3 or R3x tomorrow. The R2 looks nice but I have zero interest.
  15. Excessive parking brake disengagement noise

I pulled out of the service center yesterday and the disengagement noise was really loud.
  16. Excessive parking brake disengagement noise

We back into the garage and get this noise all the time when going forward. Recently between that noise being extra loud and seeming to come from the DS front and then the truck driving poorly we called support. Well the driving poorly was probably from the nail I had in one tire and the screw...
  17. Daily charging reminder

It would be nice in case a temperature drop or something caused the battery to get lower than expected. Example: Notify me when the battery gets below X%.
