Last service was when they proactively called and did a mobile service to replace the 12V battery in my driveway. Before that I had a wind-noise thing fixed late last year. Nothing but good experiences with service. They opened another SC in a neighbor state which took some load off of the...
I have a tough time taking a post seriously when it is written this poorly. I don't get the communications issues. I have always been called back promptly, and they have reached out proactively to me. My experience with Rivian is the polar opposite of what I think the OP is trying to communicate.
I had the same problem, and my bed cover was engaged, so I couldn't access the bed. Try pushing in on the tailgate and hitting the release, incase it is hanging up due to too tight a fit. DO NOT hit the entrapment button. It won't help, and you cannot reset it until you drop the tailgate. It...
I had an out and back short road trip yesterday. Richmond VA to Durham NC and back. Stopped once on the way back to charge at RAN in Henderson. 16 minutes total stop which was enough time to pee, and get a snack at Starbucks. Charged at 166 kw average, cost me more in Starbucks than for the...
I got about halfway through before I decided you shouldn't buy a Rivian. I doubt that ANY EV Truck will meet what you want. Just stick with am ICE truck and drive well.
I'm not gonna read all that. I take it you had problems getting the charge to start. Reboot the vehicle, try a different stall, verify the CC on file, proceed to your plan B DCFC if all that fails. Adventure on and live well.
There is no distance that I won't drive my R1T. Nothing else compares, ICE wise. Whenever I am on the road for business, I rent an EV if one is available. I've driven an ICE vehicle exactly once in the last year and it sucked. Granted, I don't have kids and can largely control my own schedule.
I think the problem with the way you are testing is that the HVAC cycling can skew the findings. You can measure the current with a clamp-on meter, if you can get access to the wires. You said it is a rivian EVSE, so it is hard-wired. Tougher to measure with a multimeter since it has to be...
If the carbon footprint matters to you, Rivian claims to have offsets for all of the RAN network. I don't believe Tesla makes the same claim. I will use a RAN if one is available, even if they cost more. Less crowded, supports a company I believe in, they always work, etc.
