5K miles and I have a small crack in the corner I'm ignoring. I'm thinking I will get another crack at some point and I will get both fixed at the same time. I always stay way behind trucks with covered loads and such.
It is a poorly designed FOB IMHO. If they were serious about the carabiner, they would have put a screw-down locking barrel on it, like on climbing gear. I bought a 3D printed replacement cover from somewhere and love it. A bit of grip tape on the unlock button helps when it is dark or the FOB...
I wouldn't use it if it were free. My wife has 60 days of FSD free with her new Model 3, and we aren't even going to try it.
I like driving my truck, thats why I bought it. I can see applicability for age / mobility / handicapped folks. I hope Rivian stays well away from it.
