Update: I took it into Rivian this morning. They just completed the repairs under warranty and I will be picking it up tomorrow. Both air bladders in the front were leaking. Thanks everyone for the comments and the suggestions. Have a great weekend!
In the last week, our ride has gone from bad on bumpy roads (normal) to outstandingly terrible. The vehicle nows sends everyone flying over every bump when inn auto setting and all-purpose mode. When I tried to lower it to low from auto, it says suspension is too hot. Then, when I am trying...
I know that most of this is pure speculation. But I wanted to get the hive’s thoughts on what we think an R2 equivalent with the Launch Edition options offered will cost once LIDAR is available. That would include Autonomy+ for life, the tow package and the key fob. Don’t really like the puke...
Long message - I am sorry, but am cutting and pasting the coverage. Okay, I’m a Gen 1 R1S QM pre-order and have had mine since May of 23. So, I am pretty sure the big stuff, I am covered for 8 years and 175,000 miles. It now has a little less than 25,000 miles on it. I got an email...
I drove around the grassy excess parking lot area of our church yesterday. Oh,also, my kid had to pee really badly on an hour-and-a-half trip and we were on a two-lane country road in TX. We went off-road to get close to a tree for him to relieve himself. That incline was at least 18 degrees...
Thanks for the considered response re:timing. I didn’t actually think at all about driving in conserve. Whether actual or perceived in the reality of my brain, I feel like having all four wheels active is safer. Because we don’t drive long trips that often, I think I’m a little more cautious and...
It has been a while since we have traveled more than and hour-and-a-half by car...likely a year or more. I wanted to pose this question for others especially those who do longer trips and have multiple options for vehicles. Let me start out by saying that this is not a question of which...
I am having the same issue. It is at least 2 to 4 inches too big each way. I have been emailing with them and they’re only offering an 80% refund and they said I could keep it. I don’t want to keep it because it’s too big that I can’t actually use it.
For us, it is not worth upgrading from a 23 G1 and paying a bunch more money. I don’t want to give up the quad motor setup. My vehicle has been relatively trouble free. I’ve also added things to it, which don’t translate to the next generation. Plus, I need to make sure there’s enough in the...
I got the 119S variety about a month and a half ago. So, about 1300 miles in, the ride is smoother - still not great, but better than before. My efficiency is down to 2.11 although I am driving with less A/C now so that may improver. Previously, I was around 2.33.
Or live with the $150 a year. I end up connecting my kids' devices on longer drives, hooking my work laptop to it when picking up my kids from carpool, dropping off, etc. and it is worth it. Would I rather have CarPlay? Sure, but I have known there was not nor will be CarPlay unless a bunch...
Edited: Hi, y'all. I'm done with the fabric (Chilewich) mats that came with the car. I'm looking for the AW floor mats. I've seen comments on Tuxmat, Maxpider, Rivian and Weathertech. For Gen 1 R1S, does anyone have any pictures and comments (pros & cons) about any of them. TIA.
