I have read both of these threads, and it seems to me that the OP is mad that people are not agreeing with him and has turned nasty as a result. There have been a few harsh responses to the OPs opinion but overall this could have been a productive thread. Unfortunately the OP has chosen to not...
So because he believes in his own BS, he gets a pass? If he were just some rando, you would have a point. But he is the head of the company telling stock holders and paying customers the same BS over and over. At some point there needs to be some kind of accountability even if he believes...
Was Rivian charging customers for full FSD that was only a short time away, yet never seemed to actually materialize? Because Tesla had been doing that for years.
I agree the technology itself is very promising. I do hope we do eventually get to level 4 at a minimum. The issue here is some people jumping the gun and saying we are there when clearly we are not. Which in itself is dangerous. Add to that Musk is charging for something that does not exist...
Or, and stay with me here, you can detail it yourself. :p
But seriously this kind of stuff is why I do my own detailing. You pay pretty good money to have it done and then you notice all kinds of little details that got missed. It's aggravating.
Just learning how to get used to the regenerative braking so I stopped exactly where I wanted to. Honestly it didn't even take that long.
Actually, all the interior functions being on a display vs actual dials and switches takes a bit getting used to. Worst part is some things require...
That's fair. I should have worded that differently. They should be mindful about future tech they sell now. Specifically thinking about Autonomy+ which is supposed to be improved in the near future.
Just going to leave this here.
Wall Street Journal
Unfortunately you need a subscription to read the entire article. But there is enough there to get the gist. After years and years of broken promises, people who bought Tesla FSD have had enough and are suing.
A good lesson for Rivian to be...
Pretty sure it's possible but Rivian does not want you to tow charge it. Of course under apocalypse conditions why not. Just find a new vehicle if it breaks.
Once worldwide modern civilization collapses, there is no restarting refineries until the entire support network is reestablished...
I'm sure they have a pretty good idea of what most people will want. There shouldn't be very many variations anyway, so they can build up some stock ahead of the official launch.
Short term the ICE would be best. You can get fuel anywhere, even other abandoned cars. The only problem is gas does go bad eventually. EVs have the potential for a substantially longer life post apocalypse. IF you can figure out a recharging method before the 12v battery dies from just...
Yea, in the shade and indoors it does look very blackish. I was on the fence about the color when I was ordering because of that. But now owning one for a bit I will say I see the purple way more often than the black.
How do you like driving in slow bumper to bumper traffic with the 3 pedals? LOL.
As to the OP's question, I'm guessing a whole lot of it has to do with it being 'that is how it always has been' and everybody is used to it. In other words, why fix something that is not broken. Until EVs came...
I understand you wound up in a bad situation and are (rightfully) pretty salty about it. Not sure what you are trying to achieve here though. This is a Rivian forum and most here are Rivian fans. However, this site is not owned or run by Rivian. You are taking your frustration out on the...
The immediate name that comes to mind is Muskrat but for various reasons I can see why they didn't name him.
But it makes me think that the candidates shouldn't be limited to company CEOs, no? An INFLUENCER could be anybody really. Just as long as they are influencing the public on EVs.
