Makes sense. Was also referring to stories of folks contacting their SC to confirm their truck is indeed on a train with rough ETA. My day job doesn't allow me to blindly trust the word of folks, I need data or at minimum the story to be corroborated by a second person for things to be semi legit
How are folks getting such cooperation from people at the service center to advise on when their truck is going to show up there? Guide tells me service center has more info. Service center tells me guide has more info...
Guide originally quoted 6-8 weeks via rail on 7/25. Today it's been updated to mid to late Aug eta at Bellevue SC. Here's hoping to setting conservative expectations and surprising with earlier execution!
Confirmed build is complete and will ship via rail. My guide will update once transit starts. Rough eta 6-8 weeks so right at the early end of Oct/Nov window!
Out of the blue was invited to confirm my config yesterday. No prior contact. Today kicked off 8 steps, signed purchase agreement, Vin showing up in purchase summary. Fingers crossed delivery happens before my Oct/Nov window!
Got quote from amica, +$140/6 months to add the R1T to my plan. Assuming 6K annual miles. Currently paying 1333 every 6 months for four cars. Thankfully not as much of an increase as I was expecting.
I'm thinking something like the unibar from lightforce would help minimize drag by keeping driving lights on the leading edge of the truck. Thoughts? Idea of drilling holes in the bumper for a plate bracket is saddening though...
