I got a call from EA yesterday, suggesting there is a process for being reimbursed for expenses incurred as a result of this incident. They did provide the caveat that compensation could be denied. The call was friendly and informative. So far customer service from both EA and Rivian has been...
I just want to add that the Rivian support person who picked up when I called in with the app was fantastic. Abby got me sorted with Uber credits so I could pick up my dad, Uber to Mass General, then Uber to the service center after his appointment. He was only a few minutes late and no one even...
I can't swear where the bang was from. I was sitting in the car practicing German on my phone. All I know for sure is the first place my eyes were drawn to was the charging kiosk, which is where I saw the flash.
When I was on the phone with the EA support line, the person I was speaking with basically described to me what I had experienced, leaving me with the feeling that it was a thing. No offer to help, but I'm hoping that Rivian and EA sort it out. I'll keep you posted.
This morning, I was driving down from Vermont to pick my Dad up in Manchester, NH, and take him down to Mass General for an appointment. I drove down to Manchester early so I could charge to be able to get him down to Boston and back without needing to stop. At the Electrify America charging...
I'd love the extra range, but am still digging the dark 20" wheels with the factory AT tires. They look great, and I don't notice the noise. In the words of Billy Crystal imitating Fernando Lamas, "It's not how you feel it's how you look, and darling, the 20s look marvelous."
This is my experience for the last month, but for the 6 months prior it worked much better. I'm not sure if they've done something in their battle against phantom drain that is making PAAK less responsive.
I've been planning to add the running boards, as the step in is tough on my 5'2" wife. Having moved to the R1T from one of the most accessorizable vehicles on the planet, Jeep Gladiator, where I had a problem with rusting aftermarket running boards. I was told don't let snow or ice build up on...
Hello Vermonting Vermonters. A couple of weeks ago, a contractor's trailer door swung into the right rear quarter of my R1T, scratching it. I'm looking for autobody suggestions in the Brookfield/Randolph area. I'm not opposed to travel, so if you've got a recommendation, let me know. Thanks, Dan
I took delivery on March 7th, and two weeks ago a contractor's trailer door got caught by the wind and put a small bit of scrape damage on my passenger-side rear quarter. Anybody in Vermont have a recommendation for a quality body shop?
My plates and registration application paperwork showed up on Friday. So the process has gone from over 3 months for you to under three weeks for me. I hope to catch up with you at some point. I'm going for my inspection at VT Tire & Service in Montpelier on Wednesday. Someone in this string...
How long did the whole process take? I can see when you got your plates, but not when you got the truck. I picked up my R1T on the 7th of March and am trying to calibrate my expectations. Thanks from Brookfield VT.
It seems odd that they wouldn't include the two most common interfaces, CarPlay and Android Auto. I'm unlikely to change my preferred music source. Super excited to take delivery next Tuesday. I'm guessing that for all the things that "make me go hmmm", other things will "make me go HOLY SMOKES!"
