I had the entire car open the whole time for people to take a look (all four doors, frunk, gear tunnel, etc.) and I didn't think to turn off AC. In my mind, I've read about people camping overnight on here with minimal battery drain so didn't think this would be that drastically different...
We had a neighborhood car show this weekend and I left the themes running for 2.5 hours or so (which people loved), and it drained about 15% of the battery. Was surprised when I got in to leave, but good to know it's not just me. :)
I'm hoping we G1 folks at least get something on the instrument cluster and/or the main screen. Honestly - that's what I see anyways when driving, so I'd be fine with that. If I could get the Back to the Future instrument cluster - I'd be a happy kid adult.
That's all software anyway, so...
We have Genie openers. The on screen/scroll wheel opener only works about 1/2 the time in general. It’s a lot of me sitting in my driveway and pushing both. Ha. I was stubborn about using it, but finally just gave up altogether.
FWIW, I've had that same issue on both R1Ts I've had. Never figured out a fix.
I finally stopped using it and just use the old school visor clip-on clicker.
*UPDATE*
Picked up the repaired truck this weekend with a new Enduro FDU installed and the sound is gone. Hoping others have the same luck in getting this fixed.!
Atlanta. Attaching video of the sound I had on my truck. It's hard to tell with these videos if it's the same or not, but they immediately said that needs to be replaced.
Same issue here (dual / max / 2023 model year). The sound was normal for the first 1,000 miles, and then this milling sound showed up ever since (kids said it sounds like a space ship coming down the road). The tech heard it immediately on a test drive and said it's the first time he's heard...
In the process of returning my Lectron now. It didn't work at some stations on my one and only trip with it (both are V3). Got a "connection" error in car (cable not connected, try again). I tried at multiple stalls and kept getting same error over and over. They've offered a replacement...
Another update for those that have this adapter:
ABRP had me stopping there for 15 minutes and then again in Monteagle for 15 minutes. The Nashville station worked just fine on my way home. The Monteagle station wouldn’t even start was giving me the same error (charger not connected properly...
This is great! I had my charging session just stop early yesterday with no errors from the car. It was hot out (high 90s) so my only guess was the heat. Will continue to test, but at least I know my initial thought wasn’t crazy.
Report from the wild - charged at Nashville SC and worked great until the charger abruptly stopped without throwing any messages after about 25 minutes at 63% SOC. Mapping software wanted me to get to 75% before moving on, so needed a little more. I moved to two other stalls, and then got a...
Used mine today for first time and it could not have been easier. Adapter into car--> NACS cord into adapter--> Charge begins --> Finish session --> Remove NACS from adapter --> Remove adapter from car, drive away. No struggles at all in removing the NACS cord from the adapter.
Very happy...
It's not a huge deal, but the rest of the instructions refer to these parts (are they referring to the right ones or the wrong ones?!). Just amazes me how this stuff gets through to production and shipping without anyone noticing.
Received today and will test it this week. But am I crazy, or is this chart all backwards? Wouldn’t (1) be the CCS1 connector and (2) be the NACS inlet? If so, then I think the 3 and 4 are backwards also. ?
Just my experience - ordered on 5/13, received “shipping” notification yesterday (but it’s just a printed label at this point, so unclear of when it will be delivered).
