"It's like the UI was designed by two different teams who were locked in two different rooms." YES EXACTLY THIS. The UI is SO slow and laggy too. It's unbelievable. Then you see the mid-1990's quality cameras and it all makes sense, makes you take a deep breath and go "ahh, GM..."

The Hummer EV has this actually and I find it half helpful, half distracting actually. I think, honestly, the higher resolution cameras on the Gen 2 would of helped me avoid the bollard. I was also rushed that morning and wasn't operating at full capacity (pre-coffee, too) lol. Same situation...

I'm very hopeful that the Gen 2 (better cameras and sensors) address this blind spot! At the auto-body shop, when I dropped mine off, there were 11 other Rivians there. Pretty much every one of them was the same as mine. This blind spot is a serious issue!

I'm very excited to Get my Rivi back (in brand new condition!) here soon! It's definitely a looker - I've really grown way more fond of my Rivian though!

It sits so high too, it really is enormous lol. It has some super bad blind spots of its own too. I really really miss the turn-signal cameras that we got in recent updates on the Rivian. This thing could definitely use those!

I found the ONE blind spot on my Rivian a few months back - the passenger rear side of the truck has a pretty crazy blindspot. I found it with a yellow parking lot bollard. Gotta love it. I also for the first time in my life got caught in a really nasty Colorado hailstorm. The shop has my truck...

I ordered a Tri-Max and a Quad-Max ? I think I’ll probably get the Tri-Max first and I think I’ll keep that and cancel the QM down the road. We’ll see! Good to have options lol. Currently have an R1T, (3) R2’s on order, and now (2) new R1T’s on order. I might have a problem. ?
