  1. Range Loss in Extreme cold temperatures … Great Job, Rivian!

I charged up higher than I needed to when I was in Montrose heading into Telluride, I did not charge at all while I stayed in Telluride. I agree, there is not really any usable chargers in Telluride it seems.
  2. Range Loss in Extreme cold temperatures … Great Job, Rivian!

Thank you! I’m a photographer by trade so really enjoy taking photos of this thing. It’s hard to take a bad pic of it!
  3. Range Loss in Extreme cold temperatures … Great Job, Rivian!

Wow, I am so sorry to hear. That’s wild! I don’t think I’m doing anything special. Just parking and leaving it!
  4. Range Loss in Extreme cold temperatures … Great Job, Rivian!

Wow!! I’m glad you were able to make it, though!
  5. Range Loss in Extreme cold temperatures … Great Job, Rivian!

I’m up in Telluride this weekend from Denver, my truck’s been parked out in the heavy snow for the past 2 days getting absolutely dumped on. I haven’t seen 1% even of range loss. Go Rivian. Through lots of great software updates and tuning, no range loss at ALL! Went to pick up some food...
  6. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

Thank you! It was a really amazing adventure. All very easy to handle this time of year - hardly anyone there this time of year and permits are readily available. You do need to stay in designated camping spots per the permit regulations. Just google Canyonlands Back Country Permits if you're...
  7. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

No problems at all, I think the cold weather scared a lot of people away. There was hardly anyone there, I think I passed only a handful of people the entire time I was there, mostly bikers. I haven't been to Moab in the height of summer but I can only imagine how congested and busy it gets.
  8. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

Thank you!! Turning clearance, yes absolutely! There was one other Tacoma out there that had a small pull behind fold out camper trailer. It did have high clearance though. It is worth noting though with range I don’t think you’d make it pulling something else.

Hahahaha thank you! have a Gaggia Espresso maker, it made AMAZING coffee each morning! ?
  10. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

I started from the north end at Mineral Bottom! Mineral Bottom is the north entrance and it ends at Schafer trail on the south end!
  11. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

iPhone 15 has satellite capabilities to contact emergency services if needed - I actually had cell service with the Rivian hotspot for most of the trip too surprisingly! Didn't plan to get stuck, lol. plus, when I have gotten stuck - a shovel, hard work, and time is all that's really needed.
  12. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

Neither, lol. A decent sleeping bag but not rated for that weather and no heater. The sleeping bag I have is just two cheap Coleman sleeping bags zipped together for a bigger sleeping bag and then I had a big blanket I threw on top of that. The tent is surprisingly well insulated and held in...
  13. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

Thank you!! No challenges, thankfully! On a trip like this, enough food to last a few days in case of any unforeseen circumstances, and plenty of water, I had a 5 gallon supply of water just in case! I also always carry multiple flashlights, a gun, and some basic tow gear (soft shackles, a...
  14. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

You get it!!! Thank you dude!! It was incredible. 10/10 definitely recommend!
  15. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

Would highly recommend 100% SOC, haha. Kind of did it on a whim - glad I was prepared with camping off grid (that was the plan), but bit off a bit more than I could chew with the overall length of the trip. 10/10 though, the Rivian did fantastic. Glad it made it with no issues!
  16. Solo R1T camping adventure at White Rim Road | Moab, UT

I spent the weekend in Moab on a solo camping adventure. I decided on a whim to tackle the White Rim Road through Canyonlands - 99 miles of off roading. I completed the trail in 2 days, getting around 75 miles on the first day and the last 25ish miles on the second day. I left Moab with 85%...
  17. New off-road screens coming soon? Spotted on Rivian Rebelle Rally 2023 page

AND ANOTHER THING in my old TRD pro Tacoma, the resolution on the cameras was total potato quality (maybe 480p), but in 4lo specifically (lol, remember having a transmission), the front camera would show lines to show where the tires were and would turn as you turned the wheel. Insanely helpful...
